Everywhen is based on my interest in how life sustains itself, how life is formed by symbiotic relationships with other species, and in the exploration of the materiality of information technology.
The realization that Information technology always leaves traces that are closely connected to the earth, air, and water. Therefore, I would like to further explore how organic materials support the development of information technology and how the devices of this technology return to nature. My work is really an archaeology of information technology with a focus on the past and the future.
I work with ecosystems of bacteria and other microorganisms in relation to environmental conditions to understand complex macro-scale systems.
My project closely intertwines ocean mining, biodiversity, and technology development, with the aim to fostering environmental healing and awareness by decentralizing the human species. During my stay at HWK Delmenhorst, I will focus on marine snow and the different electrical signals that fluctuate due to microorganisms. This will take viewers and listeners on a rhythmomatic journey towards an understanding of life.
