Abstract

The focus of this proposal is to bring about a significant transformation in the way active distribution networks (ADNs) are designed by harnessing the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Graph Theory. ADNs are the modern intricate systems responsible for the distribution of electricity from power stations to our homes, offices, and other establishments. The efficiency and reliability of these systems are of paramount importance, as they directly impact the quality and consistency of the power supply.

In this project, I plan to use AI to make these systems more efficient and dependable. AI has the potential to reduce energy wastage significantly and ensure a steady supply of electricity, thereby contributing to a more sustainable future. Furthermore, we plan to use graph theory, a branch of mathematics that is used to study networks and their properties. This will provide us with valuable insights into the complex relationships and interactions within these systems.

By combining these two powerful tools, we aim to create a smarter and more sustainable approach to energy distribution. This project is not just about improving the existing systems, but also about paving the way for future advancements in the field. We believe that our interdisciplinary approach will contribute significantly to the broader understanding and development of ADNs.
