- Aging of visual processing - changes over the life span, particularly of dynamic vision
- Processing of temporal information in the visual system of healthy, aging, and visually impaired populations
- Visual pseudo-hallucinations in visually impaired patients, connection with brain plasticity
- Psychophysical test methods for patients with visual impairments, evaluation of visual performance and of treatment methods
- Combination of behavioral, EEG, and fMRI-methods for investigation of visual functions
