Prof. Dr. Kerstin Schill
Prof. Dr. Kerstin Schill studied computer science at the TU Munich and received her PhD in human biology at the LMU Munich. Since 2003, she has been head of the Institute for "Cognitive Neuroinformatics" at the University of Bremen. Prof. Schill was Dean of the Department of Computer Science/Mathematics at the University of Bremen for eight years until October 2018. She also served as spokesperson of the scientific focus "Minds/Media/Machines" there until May 2019 . She was a Senator of the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2014 to July 2019 and was elected Vice President of the DFG in July 2019.
Since October 01, 2018, Kerstin Schill has been Rector of the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK).
