A ‘Hands-On’ Workshop
September 6 - 10, 2010
Organizers:
Stefan Debener, Christiane Thiel & Christoph Herrmann
Department of Psychology, University of Oldenburg
Venue:
Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg
Lehmkuhlenbusch 4
27753 Delmenhorst
Germany
Aim of this workshop is to introduce EEGLAB and SPM to those considering its use in their cognitive neuroscience research. Step-by-step hands-on sessions will guide those new to the Matlab programming environment from getting-started to a more thorough signal processing level. Participants will be provided with computers, software and example datasets on site. Introductory lectures will be combined with hands-on sessions during which participants will be supported by a team of experienced helpers. The workshop will also include selected state-of-the art lectures on human neuroanatomy, clinical neuroanatomy and the functional role of high frequency brain oscillations.
The workshop is limited to 35 participants. Participation fees include accommodation in a nearby Hotel, lunch, coffee, refreshments and one social event (Thursady evening).
