The Entrainment of Brain Oscillations conference is an international, two-day conference designed for and organized by PhD students. The goal of the conference is to allow early career researchers specialized in the field of brain oscillations to meet and discuss their research.
The conference is specialized on ongoing brain oscillations and the opportunities that arise from an external manipulation (entrainment) of those oscillations. Thus, entrainment provides the unique chance to investigate a causal relationship between brain functioning and behavior. The investigation of brain oscillations and their underlying mechanisms have received increasing interest over the past years. Thereby, brain oscillations can be studied from different perspectives, such as the visual and auditory domain or they can be entrained through external electrical stimulation.
EBO 277 is devoted to combine these different perspectives of studying entrainment in the brain, to bridge the gap between different disciplines and to share ideas between PhD students. During the conference three symposia will be held (visual, auditory and electric) and we encourage PhD students from all discplines (Psychology, Cognitive Science, Biology, Physics etc.) to apply and register for the conference.
